Dr. Jason Friedman

Dr. Jason Friedman, D.C. proudly serves as the Clinic Director of Progressive Physical Medicine since it's founding in 2005. From the moment the doors first opened, he has been committed to providing the highest quality and most advanced form of healthcare to his fellow Lombard town. His dedication to excellence mandates first-class care; bringing a comprehensive approach to minimizing pain and restoring function – getting patients back to their demanding lifestyles as quickly as possible.

Dr. Friedman, originally from Long Island, New York, pursued his undergraduate degree from Long Island University- CW Post Campus (Long Island, NY) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He continued his educational studies at National University of Health Sciences (in Lombard, IL) for his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine, with a focus in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. To additionally benefit his patients, Dr. Friedman regularly attends post-graduate seminars to further his knowledge in the field and has also been certified in Acupuncture, Custom-molded Orthotics, and is a preferred provider of Graston Technique and KinesioTaping for Soft-tissue Mobilization and Re-education. Furthermore, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, which not only raises-the-bar with diagnostic proficiency with Sports Injuries but also allows him to provide Sports Performance Enhancement Training through a specifically tailored Strengthening and Conditioning Program.

Dr. Friedman focuses on mainstream, non-operative methods of treating all musculo-skeletal and neurological conditions. While most may revere him as being an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Spinal Disorders, he also specializes in treating all Extremity disorders as well, such as Rotator Cuff and Carpal Tunnel Disorders, Runners Hip and Knee, Tennis and Golfers Elbow, in addition to performing Post-Surgical Rehabilitation of all joint replacements. Dr. Friedman not only has had a life-long love for Sports and Athleticism, but he has been an active competitor throughout his entire life; from T-ball through College Baseball to Power Lifting. He understands on a personal level how important it is for his patients to recover quickly and return to their own passion, whether it is for work or play.

At Progressive Physical Medicine, he has developed a patient-focused practice that takes pride in customizing each patient's experience, in relation to their needs and goals. He strives to research the latest, most current and most advanced therapy techniques available to best help the many acute and chronic conditions he treats. It is always the goal of Dr. Friedman to work side-by-side with his patients throughout each step of their treatment and allow them to reinstate a healthy, active lifestyle that will ultimately allow them to "Live Better, Play Harder".
